31st January – Nanaimo to Aldergrove, BC

ITINERARY
7:30am – Arrive at Departure Bay, Nanaimo for ferry to BC mainland….
….all dolled up and ready to go.
10:45am - Doggy Pit Stop Number 1 – Lynn Valley Suspension Bridge (In the rain? Are you crazy?):
11:30am – Lunch at The End of the Line General Store. Delicious chicken and artichoke Florentine soup and half a Black Forest Cake each. An army travels on its stomach.
12:30pm – Doggy Pit Stop Number 2 at Deep Cove.Very wet.
1:00pm – Jamjarjude speeding across Port Mann bridge. World’s widest bridge. Very rainy. Hard to see so technological genius difficult to appreciate.
1:30pm - Doggy Pit Stop Number 3 - Derby Reach. Log boom in Fraser River. Rain stopped. Very muddy. Getting to appreciate smell of wet dog.
2:30pm – Picturesque Fort Langley….
….and chocolates!!!
4:30pm – Doggy Pit Stop Number 4 – Aldergrove Regional Park. Muddy. Learning to appreciate smell of wet dog and muddy footprints on lap.
8:30pm – Bed Time. Beauty sleep required for Road Trip to USA tomorrow.
